The largest investment ever in the business world, the deal between Reliance Industries and BP has sent waves all over the world. Reliance plans to invest over 1 Lakh Crores over the next few years in the oil and gas industry but there have been concerns over Mukesh Ambani’s ability to pump in that amount of money after recent controversies. Morgan and Stanley, global investment giants have advised caution to BP regarding the clarity on the use of cash flows by the Indian billionaire, if the proposed deal goes through. This deal indeed is a landmark in business investment and its history, but only time will tell if it materializes or not.
